Tonight’s E! News featured a segment on Hollywood revenge diets so I decided to take some notes. The focus was on four recent heartbreak victims Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore, Carmen Electra, and Kate Hudson.

Reese Dropped 10 pounds and went from a size 6 to a size 2 after her October breakup from Ryan Phillipe. Her diet consists of a high fiber muffin for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch, and salmon with veggies for dinner. When it comes to fitness Reese runs 3 miles each day and does yoga.
Drew Barrymore lost 20 pounds after her breakup with Fabrizio Moretti. She lost the weight eating cereal for breakfast, a chicken sandwich for lunch, and fish with veggies at dinner time. Drew says she does pig out sometimes but makes up for it by running 5 miles everyday and lifting weights 5 days a week.
Even Carmen Electra lost 10 pounds after her breakup with rocker Dave Navarro. She dropped the weight by avoiding all salt, oil and butter. Carmen also regularly participates in belly dancing, yoga and ballet classes to keep her body in tip top shape.
After Kate Hudson’s separating with husband Chris Robinson she toned up by dropping 10 pounds. Kate’s diet secrets include eating smaller portions and organic foods. She also stays in shape with stripper aerobics and running around after her 3 year old son Ryder.

These are the guidelines, developed by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. They set these rules for this fashion week to prevent unhealthy models from walking the runway.
Following several anorexia-related model deaths last year, mandatory rules – which specifically defined a healthy body-mass index for models – are now enforced in other countries.
In Italy, it is prohibited to hire a model under 16 and models must submit medical proof that they don’t suffer from anorexia or bulimia.
The CFDA declined to take such drastic measures.
Despite new guidelines to fatten up the waifs, a survey of the backstage spreads at Fashion Week found plenty of food, but few takers.
At the Lycra denim lounge Tuesday, there was a table full of minicupcakes that went almost untouched.
And some of what is consumed isn’t staying down. “We can smell it. They’re doing a lot of vomiting,” janitor Dennis White, 28, told Reuters. He was cleaning up the toilets as models prepared for an early-morning show.
“At our first show, we had catering backstage, but the models didn’t eat,” said a publicist. “So at our last one, we’re not even going to be bothering with catering – we’re just having champagne, water and energy drinks.”
As you can see the CFDA’s new guidlines are worthless!

Paris is pictured here munching on a bowl of cereal. I think this was a surprisingly wise choice for Paris, because cereal is filled with so many great nutrients and vitamins. I’m not sure what kind of cereal it is, but looks to be corn flakes. CLICK HERE to see the Kellogg’s Corn Flake nutritional facts for yourself and you’ll be shocked at how healthy cereal really is. Add sliced bananas or strawberries and milk for a nutrition filled breakfast.

Jeremy Piven tells Cosmopolitan how he lost 20 pounds for his roll in Smokin’ Aces…
“This character was an entertainer — a magician turned gangster turned snitch — and he was doing a great deal of cocaine. If you’re gonna abuse yourself that heavily and rob your body of nutrients, you’re gonna lose body weight. I went down to about 158 just by eating smaller meals and more meals on a strict raw-food diet. Oddly enough, I was in the best shape of my life to portray the worst shape of my life.”
